For me, personally, regular breaks became more relevant since I have learned how my nervous system works, how it reacts in stressful situations and why it is so important to have phases of regeneration.
Postpartum, several traumatic experiences before giving birth, and sleep deprivation due to motherhood throw me off the ground. Through working with my nervous system and conscious, regular breaks, my resilience improved. My fears became less and more tangible. And if they arise, I have tools to deal with them.
